| Angelo Core I was born in Savona in 1956. I have always been interested in architecture and costruction and I taught myself the profession. Ester Manitto I was born in Crevari, Genoa in 1968. The most remarkable experience in my education was attending AG Fronzoni’s workshop-school in Milan, first as a student and then as a collaborator. I worked at Renzo Piano’s Building Workshop in Vesima and taught visual communication at the Politecnico di Milano Bovisa. On 24 November 2010 I was invited by Professor Brunetto De Battè and by architect Marco Ciarlo to give a guest lecture on my teacher AG Fronzoni at the Faculty of Architecture of the Genoa University. In march 2010 I had been invited by De Battè and Ciarlo to show and comment on our projects with Genoa University architectural students. We decided to open our office in Savona in 1997, initially working predominantly on renovation projects. A few years later we also started our own construction firm, in order to be able to directly supervise our projects. Our approach is always consistent in all projects, from two-dimensional design to spatial design. Our very understanding of design is based on the ideas and the teaching of an exceptional master, AG Fronzoni, for whom "designing the page of a book is like planning a city".
